A common term used by scouts is the word hiking. The concept of the word, is used in many different ways.
To me Hiking is, walking. Techniques you may encounter here are personal care, shoes and backpacks. That hikers need to ave some knowledge
of map and compass (navigational technique), or communication (communication through code) is beyond dispute,
but in my opinion those deliver no contribution to the moving itself.
Allso for experienced hikers who do not forget and bring everything along. |
