Maintaining these products might result in using a drill, chisel, welding-equipment and many others. These however are not the tools for scouts. |

Equipment Management
|
In most scout groups there is a equipment manager. Equipment Management a synonym for: awkward, tedious, much
demanding, always complaining person who takes care of the quality of the existing tools which, when necessary, always appear to be broken.
If the above sounds familiar try to ask yourself if you treat your equipment with the respect it needs.
As the author of this site, I am in favor of closing down the access to equipment. This will result in control on quality of incoming equipment.
This dous not prevent Youthfull irresponsibility by users but the next one allso has a good start. |
